PARTICIPATE IN A RELATIONAL GROUP

        Group life in a church our size and bigger is where real spiritual growth takes place.  It is the one place in most people’s lives where caring about each other’s spiritual life is on the agenda.  When one participates in a small relational group several things happen:  one gets to really know 10 to 14 others, they become friends, they care for each other, look out for each other, help each other, enjoy each other.  They also read, think, discuss and study things of the faith together.  In doing so they grow in their knowledge of God and God’s purposes.  But most importantly, they learn how to pray for and with each other.  This is something they do not experience anywhere else. The growth that takes place is amazing.
