We’re far enough into the pandemic to make it a sad country song. Luke Comb’s “Six Feet Apart´ says, “I miss my mom. I miss my dad. I miss the road, the band, giving hugs and shakin’ hands.” But, he also believes a day will come again when “We aren’t six-feet apart.” I believe that, too. But when? We don’t know. What can we possibly make of this wide-open season of wide-open spaces? Are we moving closer to God, or are we distancing ourselves when it comes to faith as well?
