Board Highlights

      The Church Board met Monday, February 15, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Following are the highlights of the meeting:

Action items:                                

¨      Approved Property Proposal to use the sidewalk easement money to replace the roofs over the organ and Sanctuary and to put the rest in the Property Contingency Fund.

¨      Approved the 2010-2011 Slate of Officers.

¨      Approved the Sunday Morning Schedule Change, with the amended time of 11:15 for the start of the Contemporary Service. All of this beginning kick-off Sunday, September 12, 2010.

Information Items:

¨      Luci Fichter gave an update on the Alternative Worship Task Force.

¨      Roger Wilson gave an update from the Associate Minister Search Committee.

¨      Stuart Head gave an update from the Stewardship Committee.

¨      Ellen Flottman talked about the impact of Payroll figures with Nursery workers and youth helpers.

¨      Tim Carson told about the upcoming plans for the Lenten Season, including Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Services.

¨      John Cassels gave an update on the Organ Insurance Claim.
