Partnerships with Mission Organizations
  •          Room at the Inn – Broadway participates with a coalition of local faith communities to provide volunteers for Room at the Inn, a winter shelter operating during January and February.
  •          Disaster Response Network – Broadway is a member of a Columbia network of faith communities that work together with local agencies to plan and prepare for natural or man-made disasters. Broadway is designated as Red Cross emergency shelter, with an emphasis on serving those with special needs.
  •          Fifth Street Christian Church Partnership – Since 2009, Broadway has been actively engaged with Fifth Street Christian Church, a traditionally African-American congregation, assisting with its Feed the Community program on the second Saturday of each month.
  •          Ronald McDonald House – Once a month, our members volunteer to provide a meal for families staying at the local Ronald McDonald House.
  •          Financial Support – Broadway allocates 10% of our yearly operating budget to our outreach ministry and those funds are distributed to many local organizations, including the Voluntary Action Center, Rainbow House, Boone County Council on Aging, the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, Coyote Hill, Meals on Wheels and others. Allocations are reviewed on an annual basis.
  •         The P.E.T. Project– P.E.T. stands for Personal Energy Transportation. This ministry ships self-powered all-terrain personal vehicles to amputees around the world.
  •          Food Resource Bank –  works with farmers who are willing to donate a portion of their land, grow crops and then the proceeds are used to fund farming education projects and farming loans in third-world countries.
  •          Refugee Resettlement – Broadway continues to work with the local office of Refugee and Immigrations Services to find new ways to include and acclimatize new immigrants to our city.
