On-Site Programs
  •          Community Garden Project – Our Community Garden was established in 2008, with 24 garden plots. By 2011, our plots expanded to 96 and over half of them were cultivated by refugee families. Within our community garden is the James Wilson Demonstration Garden, a project of Columbia’s Master Gardeners to showcase best practices and promote experimental gardening.
  •         Habitat for Humanity  – For over 27 years, during the month of April, Broadway has been the home for one of the largest Habitat rummage sales in mid-Missouri! The Habitat Sale has raised over $100,000 for our local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
  •          Food Ministry – Broadway partners with Mid-America Foods  to provide a variety, high-quality, low-cost food boxes to people in the Columbia area. We also provide a supplemental food pantry. Each Sunday of the month, we collect food for local food pantries.
  •          Support Group Meetings and Community Groups – Six support and self-help groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, and Crossroads use our facility for meetings every week. Other not-for-profit organizations use our facility for their programming.
