Rev. Dr. Sarah Taylor Peck is a pastor, writer, and speaker who has dedicated her ministry to helping congregations navigate change, deepen relationships, and thrive across differences. She is passionate about preaching, building relationships, and helping congregations faithfully navigate the joys and challenges of ministry today.

Rev. Dr. Taylor Peck earned her Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School, where she was a cash prize winner in the Billings Preaching Competition, and received her Doctor of Ministry from Duke Divinity School in 2023. Her doctoral research, The Purple Church, explores how congregations can remain faithful and connected across political differences in an increasingly polarized world.

From 2020 to 2023, she served as a research fellow with the Kettering Foundation, studying democratic practices within religious communities. She has served congregations in Tennessee, Ohio, and Missouri, including as the first female lead pastor of both Community Christian Church in North Canton, Ohio, and Broadway Christian Church in Columbia, Missouri, where she currently serves alongside her husband, Rev. Andrew.

Rev. Dr. Taylor Peck is passionate about mentoring the next generation of pastors and leaders. She has served with the Excellence in Ministry Program and the Cornerstones Initiative and spent six years on the Harvard Divinity School Alumni Council, including serving as chair and co-founder of the Peter J. Gomes Memorial Honors. She has preached and spoken widely, including as keynote speaker for the Tennessee Regional Assembly and as a Wise Practice leader with Bethany Fellows. She has preached in the Calvary Lenten Series in Memphis and presented at the American Academy of Religion. Her writing has appeared in ELLE, HuffPost, The Salt Project, and other publications.



At Broadway, Rev. Dr. Taylor Peck is excited to serve alongside a faithful community seeking to follow Jesus with curiosity, compassion, and courage. Outside of church, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Rev. Andrew, their two children, their dog Monkey, their cats Pearl and Ruby, eight betta fish, and their pet snake.
