Leslie has been on staff part time since 2016. She is a behind-the-scenes assistant, filling in for office staff during times of extended leave or transition. Leslie has held various positions within the Christian Church (DOC) in Mid-America, Mid-America Center for Ministry (formerly Missouri School for Religion), and in 2018 joined Phillips Theological Seminary at the launch of the Center for Ministry and Lay Training. Though Phillips is located in Tulsa, OK; Leslie and her administrative assistant work within Broadway, sharing an office space in the CLC.

Leslie enjoys life on some acreage at the small family farm where she grew up. Her husband J.D., sons Austin and Renner, and nephew and niece, Matthew and Hazel keep her life busy with sports, outdoor fun, and she keeps her mind sharp assisting with homework from elementary, middle, and high school.
