Three Words for Our World

Gentleness  

Paul lists gentleness as one of the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. In a world awash in violence, when words as well as actions are salted with anger and malice, gentleness becomes a countercultural demeanor, a witness to the Prince of Peace, and an embodiment of the Spirit who is depicted as a dove.
