Generosity

Scripture Mark 14:3-9

With Thanksgiving 11 days off, let’s spend two Sundays breaking down that word: Thanks and Giving. We’ll focus on thanks next week in a sermon on gratitude. This Sunday, we’ll look at giving by way of a sermon on generosity. Paul quotes Jesus as saying, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). Let’s look at the blessing that is giving and how our tithes and offerings are a channel of our generosity.
